UPPSC RO/ARO Examination: Big information has come out regarding the preliminary examination of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) 2023. The commission may soon take a decision regarding the date of RO and ARO examination. A decision can be taken in this regard by next month. Further action has started on this by the commission.

A committee has been formed by the commission to decide the format of the exam and to locate the exam centre based on the standards set by the centre, which will submit its report to the commission based on the number of candidates and the number of centres. After this, a decision will be taken regarding the exam.

The commission formed a committee.
Actually, due to the strict standards set by the centre regarding the exam centre, the commission was not able to find enough centres for the exam of 10.76 lakh candidates of RO and ARO, after which the commission had decided to conduct this exam on two days, 22nd and 23rd December, but the students opposed it and started a movement demanding that the exam be conducted on a single day. After which the commission had to cancel this exam.

The commission needed a total of 2300 examination centres to conduct the examination of so many candidates but only 978 examination centres were able to meet the standards. In view of this, a decision was taken to conduct the examination for two days. But, due to the protest of the students, this decision had to be withdrawn and now the commission has formed a committee for further action.

This committee will review the guidelines and the number of exam centres to decide the format of the exam. It is expected that the situation regarding the exam can be clarified by next month. However, the commission is currently busy preparing for the PCS pre-examination proposed on 22 December. In such a situation, it is expected that a decision can be taken soon regarding the date of this exam.
