Pharmaceutical company Ajanta Pharma has announced the results of the second quarter of the current financial year. The company has also informed in the exchange filing that the board has taken many big decisions.
Along with the quarterly results, the company has announced a dividend for investors in the filing. The company has decided to give a dividend of Rs 28 per share to the investors.
According to the filing, investors will get a dividend of Rs 28 on every share with a face value of Rs 2 for the financial year 2025. The company will spend around Rs 350 crore for the dividend. The company has fixed the record date for the dividend as Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
If we look at the dividend history of the company, it has announced this 22 times for investors. Earlier, the company has given a dividend of Rs 26 on 8 February 2024, Rs 10 per share on 04 August 2023 and Rs 15 per share on 04 August 2023.
Announcing the results, the company said that its consolidated profit has increased from Rs 195 crore to Rs 216 crore. The consolidated income has increased from Rs 1028 crore to Rs 1187 crore.
