In this sequence, a special facility for mothers is going to start soon at the stations of Prayagraj division. Now women will be able to breastfeed their newborn babies safely and without discomfort at the railway station. A baby feeding pod room is also going to be prepared at Kanpur Central Station, in which mothers will be able to breastfeed their newborns safely in a good environment without hesitation and shame.

In fact, many women often travel from one city to another with their newborn children, whether with family or alone. During the journey, they have to face many difficulties, including breastfeeding. Women feel uncomfortable breastfeeding their babies in crowded areas. Hike Baby Feeding Pod Cabin is being prepared on the platform of Kanpur Central Railway Station under Prayagraj Zone of Indian Railways. With this, women will be able to feed their children without feeling uncomfortable. They will also get a safe environment there.

Kanpur Central Station's ACM Santosh Tripathi said that this effort is being made by Prayagraj division, in which arrangements for baby feeding will be made for women and mothers, which will be started from January 10. For this, a place has also been identified at Kanpur Central. ACM said that this feeding center will be built in a room, where there will be proper and comfortable seating arrangements for women. It will be set up under the Corporation Social Responsibility Fund. The responsibility of maintaining the baby feeding pod will also be given.

Railways is taking this step by understanding the needs of women and in future this facility will be provided at all stations. Currently this facility is being started at some stations of Prayagraj division, due to which there is a plan to build this baby feeding pod center on platform number one in Kanpur. It will be fully started on January 10. Kanpur Central is a busy station, through which many trains pass. Indian Railways is trying to start this facility on every platform.
