New Delhi: BMW has launched its new car in India, named BMW M4 CS. It has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.89 crore. It is above the M4 Competition. Many mechanical changes have been made to make it faster. This is BMW's first CS model to be launched in India.

BMW M4 CS: Engine

The BMW M4 CS has the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six engine as the old M4. This engine generates 550 hp of power and 650 Nm of peak torque. Due to the changes in the engine, this car can reach a speed of 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds. Its top speed is up to 302 kmph. BMW's Adaptive M suspension is also standard in it.

It has been modified to withstand long track sessions. It has an improved cooling system and increased oil supply to the clutch. This has helped improve the performance of the four-wheel-drive system. It is also lighter than before thanks to a titanium exhaust silencer and various carbon fibre-reinforced plastics (CFRP) including the centre console, gearbox pedals and several interior trim pieces.

BMW M4 CS: Exterior

Compared to the M4 Competition, it features yellow daytime running lights, a red outline on the grille, M-specific graphics on the head-up display and a dedicated M mode button on the centre console. In addition, there is an M-specific setup button on the centre console, which enables direct access to setting options for the engine, chassis, steering, braking system and all-wheel drive.

BMW M4 CS: Interior

It has a flat-bottom Alcantara M steering wheel. It also has a new version of BMW's curved display. It has a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, which works on BMW's operating system 8.5. It has many features like carbon bucket seats, M seat belts, M4 CS door sills and many more.

Many great features have been provided in it for the safety of the passengers. It has features like 6 airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, BMW Condition Based Service (Intelligence Maintenance System), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Electronic Vehicle Immobilizer, Electromechanical Parking Brake with Auto Hold Function, ISOFIX Child Seat Mounting, Child Proof Lock, Side-Impact Protection, Crash Sensor and Dynamic Braking Light, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Mobility Kit.
