Aligarh News: In a case in Aligarh district, a judicial officer's car has been accused of being chased and weapons being shown. Farrukhabad judge Dr Anil Kumar Singh filed a complaint that 12 days ago, while he was going to Noida, some people in a white Bolero tried to stop his car in Khair area. The judge says that the suspects abused and showed weapons and chased him for a long distance.
The accused escaped by taking a U-turn near the police post. The judge suspected the Sundar Bhati gang. During his tenure as ADJ in Gautam Buddh Nagar, he had sentenced several members of the gang to life imprisonment. He believes that he was attacked to take revenge for this.
The accused absconded
According to the judge, around 8 pm on October 29, he was going to Noida. As soon as he crossed Khair's Gomat Chauraha, five people in a white Bolero chased his car and tried to stop him on the way. He told that the accused abused him and threatened him with a weapon, due to which he somehow escaped. When he stopped the car in front of Sofa police post, the accused absconded.
The judge informed the police post in-charge Sandeep Kumar, SSP's PRO and Khair Inspector DK Sisodia about the incident over the phone. The judge said that his car neither hit anyone nor was it a case of road rage. He suspected the accused of deliberately attacking with the intention of intimidating and murder.
They were sentenced to life imprisonment;
fear of taking revenge for the previous sentence The judicial officer told that while posted as ADJ in Gautam Buddh Nagar, he had sentenced Sunder Bhati and his gang members Rishipal Singh, Raj, Yogesh, Vikas Pandit, Kalu Bhati, Dinesh Bhati, Anoop Bhati, Yatendra Chaudhary, Sonu, Bobby and Surendra Pandit to life imprisonment in eight cases on 5 April 2021. He fears that this attack has been carried out to take revenge for that decision.
Giving information on the whole case, Khair Circle Officer Varun Kumar said that a case has been registered in Khair police station area on the complaint of Farrukhabad ADJ. The CCTV footage of the incident is being investigated. SP Traffic/Rural Mukesh Chand said that the matter is being investigated seriously and strict action will be taken against the culprits. This case has once again raised questions on the security of the judiciary and the activities of criminal gangs.
