The weather patterns of the country have changed. In some places conditions of rain and storm are prevailing, while at the same time, some states are facing the brunt of heatwave. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on April 20, there is an alert for storm, rain, and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in Punjab and Haryana. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heat waves in Saurashtra, Kutch, and Bihar. 

Weather activities of the country:
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the western disturbance is over northern Pakistan and surrounding areas. The induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and Punjab. At the same time, an area of ​​cyclonic winds has formed over the central parts of Assam. A trough extends from northwest Bihar to the cyclonic circulation over central Assam. A cyclonic circulation is forming over Marathwada.

Apart from this, a trough is extending from Marathwada through interior Karnataka to southern Tamil Nadu. A cyclonic circulation has formed over the south-east of the Bay of Bengal. Whereas the latest Western Disturbance will affect North-West India from April 22. 

Weather of Delhi:
Strong winds may blow during the daytime in Delhi today i.e. on 20th April. However, there is no chance of rain in Delhi this entire week. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius throughout this week. The minimum temperature is likely to be between 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Weather conditions of the country:
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, between April 20 and 21, there will be storms, lightning, and strong winds (40 °C) in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, and on April 20 in Uttarakhand. There may be rain and snowfall at -50 km per hour. Whereas between April 20 and 21, there may be sporadic rain with thunder, lightning, and strong winds (30-40 km per hour) in North Punjab and North Haryana.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain and storms are storms in North-East India between the 20th and 21st of April. Light to moderate rain may occur in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on April 20 and 22. Scattered light rain is possible in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada between April 20 and 22. There may be sporadic rainfall in Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Interior Karnataka.
