New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan: Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who will be seen in the upcoming streaming film 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', has said that she likes Russian history and Russian literature of the 20th century. The actress, who is a student of history, recently told before the release of her period film that she is very interested in what historical moments happened within 100 years from the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of Vladimir Lenin in Russia.

The actress is interested in 20th-century Russian history 

He said, 'I love 20th century Russian history. I think it's very interesting to know how they got from the times of Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, and Mikhail Gorbachev to the collapse of the Soviet Union, all of which happened in 100 years. It's very interesting to see it this way.

Said this for Nikita Khrushchev 

In fact, Nikita Khrushchev was the one who condemned the crimes of his predecessor Joseph Stalin and removed his policies and brought in his own. He also spoke about his love for Russian literature and mentioned his favorite authors with Fyodor Dostoevsky topping the list.

He said, 'I also like Russian literature very much. Fyodor Dostoevsky's 'Crime and Punishment', the novel 'Anna Karenina' is my favorite. Alexander Pushkin is also one of my favorites. Therefore, as a student of history, Russia holds a special place for me. 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' will be released on Prime Video on March 21.
