Varanasi. A speeding car hit two bike riders. The bullet rider died in the accident that took place near Danupur in Shivpur police station area on Wednesday afternoon. Another bike rider was seriously injured. The driver fled leaving the car behind, the police is searching for him.
Anil Singh reached the seed shop of his relative Krishna Kumar in Sarnath on his Bullet to buy seeds in the morning. While returning, he came out of the underpass and headed towards Chandmari ring road. During this time, a speeding Tata Tiago car number UP 67 F 9805 going towards Harhua from the overbridge hit him. Despite wearing a helmet, Anil suffered serious head injuries. A person from the village sitting with him also got injured.Meanwhile, Avanish Kumar Gautam (23 years), a resident of Harhua Bhagatua in the Baragaon police station area, also came out of the underpass on his Splendor bike towards the ring road and he and his companion were hit by the same car and were injured.The police took Anil to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The injured have been admitted to Khushal Hospital in Harhua. The car that caused the accident belongs to Avnish Singh, a resident of Kamalpur in Chandauli.
