Aligarh News: The various achievements achieved by the students of Aligarh Muslim University across the country give a new identity to the students and Aligarh Muslim University. In the same sequence, today also, in view of the performance of the student of Aligarh Muslim University in shooting, the student has been given an important award, for which everyone is seen praising this award. After this award, now the student has a dream of playing in the Olympics for the country, for which she is seen working hard every day.

 

In fact, Sabira Harris, a class XI student of Senior Secondary School (Girls) of Aligarh Muslim University, was awarded the CSR Changemakers Award at the First Healthcare CSR Changemakers Summit and Awards 2024. The event was organized by Heal Foundation at India Habitat Center, New Delhi. She was given this honor for her remarkable performance in shooting competitions. Sabira Harris received the award from Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, who was the chief guest at the event. 

 

Sabira has achieved remarkable achievements in shooting , dreaming of playing Olympics for India in 2028


She won a bronze medal in women's trap at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Italy and participated in several international shooting championships. Her recent success includes securing first place in the shotgun selection trials for the upcoming ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 in Lima, Peru. Sabira Haris said that she aspires to win a gold medal for India at the 2028 Olympics, so that she can demonstrate her dedication to both her sport and nation.
