New Delhi. Jaya Parvati Vrat is considered very auspicious in Hinduism. This festival is celebrated every year on the Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Ashadh. According to religious beliefs, unmarried girls observe this fast to get a desired husband and married women observe this difficult fast for the long life of their husbands.
There is a belief about this fast that by observing this fast, one attains happiness and good fortune and ends all the problems related to marriage. According to the Hindu calendar, this year this fast will be observed on 19th July.
