The massive U.S. Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, anchored at the nearby Laem Chabang Port, bringing approximately 5,000 sailors and Marine commandos ashore for much-needed rest and recreation after spending a grueling 200 consecutive days at sea. While local business owners anticipate a major economic windfall, the sudden influx has placed local law enforcement on high alert, sparking targeted sweeps across the city's famous nightlife districts.
