Ram Temple Trust to Appoint Deputy CEO and Spokesperson; Transparent Selection Process Highlights Ayodhya’s Vision

Following the historic appointment of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as the first Chief Executive Officer of the Ram Temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is preparing to expand its administrative leadership. Mahant Govind Dev Giri, the newly appointed General Secretary of the Trust, announced that a Deputy Chief Executive Officer will soon be selected from a shortlisted panel to streamline temple operations. Meanwhile, the search for a qualified and suitable official spokesperson is currently underway, with announcements expected as soon as the recruitment committee finalizes a candidate.

Transparent Selection Process and the Search Committee Panel

The leadership appointments follow a rigorous and transparent vetting process managed by a dedicated search committee comprising Justice Pramod Kohli, Lieutenant General Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi, and scientist-industrialist Suresh Hawde, along with committee secretary Samir Panda. Out of more than 5,500 applications received for the prestigious CEO position, the committee shortlisted six top-tier candidates divided into priority panels. Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra secured the top position on the first-priority panel, followed by Major General Sanjay Pratap Singh Vishwas Rao and Shruti Bhardwaj.

Welcoming new trustees—including Dr. Nirmala Yadav, whose induction was praised as bringing completeness to the governing body—General Secretary Mahant Govind Dev Giri outlined the Trust's overarching vision. Emphasizing that the administration has inherited a magnificent structure for divine service, the primary mission is to transform Ayodhya into the cultural capital of the world. Key objectives include enhancing pilgrim facilities, refining the temple's service systems, and creating an exemplary environment for millions of devotees visiting the sacred Janmabhoomi site.
