Rules for reciting Jupiter Chalisa
- On Thursday , wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear yellow clothes.
- Sit on a yellow seat and install the pictures of Lord Jupiter and Lord Vishnu.
- Offer turmeric, yellow flowers, gram dal, jaggery and yellow clothes during the puja.
- Light a lamp of pure desi ghee and remember Lord Vishnu before starting the recitation .
- After the recitation, chant the mantra of Lord Jupiter "Om Brim Brihaspatye Namah" 108 times.
