UP International Trade Show: Amit Shah to Inaugurate Mega Expo in Greater Noida

The stage is officially set for the fourth edition of the high-profile Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), which will unfold at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida from September 25 to September 29, 2026. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will formally inaugurate the five-day industrial conclave, which aims to display the rapidly growing manufacturing capacity, infrastructural prowess, and export dominance of Uttar Pradesh. Organized jointly by the state government and the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the mega trade fair is projected to host more than 1,000 Indian exhibitors—including leading manufacturers, MSMEs, artisans, and merchant exporters—alongside nearly 600 prominent international buyers from across the globe.

Six Global Partner Nations Join Hands: Focus on FTAs, CEPA, and Direct Sourcing

Demonstrating Uttar Pradesh's expanding commercial diplomacy, this year's edition features six official partner nations: Japan, Russia, Vietnam, Austria, Singapore, and Belarus. The strategic inclusion of these key economies aims to spark bilateral manufacturing ventures, joint technological research, and direct trade corridors. Concurrently, the expo will leverage India's existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) by welcoming high-level trade delegations from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, and Oman. By facilitating interactions with emerging markets across BRICS, North America, Europe, and Africa, the summit will grant regional suppliers preferential access to global supply chains.

High-Level Global Delegations to Meet CM Yogi Adityanath for Investment Summits

Beyond retail displays, the International Trade Show functions as a prime B2B gateway for strategic cross-border investments and technology exchange. A dedicated delegation of high-profile foreign buyers and institutional investors will hold official consultations with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the exhibition to evaluate the state’s industrial incentives, single-window clearances, and streamlined export infrastructure. The event will spotlight key domestic strengths across diverse product categories, including leather goods, advanced electronics, precision engineering, readymade apparel, food processing, and Uttar Pradesh's celebrated One District One Product (ODOP) handicrafts. Backed by FIEO’s robust network of over 37,000 member institutions, pre-scheduled business-to-business networking sessions will link local enterprises directly with global purchasing teams.
