SP aims to blunt BJP's Hindutva narrative, Akhilesh changes strategy for 2027
News Topical, Digital Desk : Akhilesh Yadav: The Samajwadi Party, which is looking to counter the BJP for the 2027 assembly elections, has now found the Ram Mandir donation theft issue. It is believed that the Samajwadi Party will use this issue to blunt the BJP's Hindutva narrative. Since the FIR was filed in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has intensified his efforts to increase his share of Hindu votes. According to political experts, Akhilesh has changed his entire strategy in view of the Ram Mandir donation theft issue.
Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media on Saturday that after forming the government, he would develop Ayodhya as "Siyaram Dham" and "restore the rights of the people of Ayodhya." Political analysts are considering this statement as an important message. The use of terms like "Sanatan Man" and "faith and devotion" indicates that the Samajwadi Party is now working on a strategy to establish its stake in the Hindu religious narrative rather than maintaining distance from it.
SP to include temple donation dispute in ground campaign
A senior party official stated that the Samajwadi Party (SP) is now moving beyond its backward-Dalit-minority formula and incorporating the temple donation controversy into its grassroots campaign to counter the BJP's Hindutva narrative. The party will highlight the issue of donation theft through assembly and booth-level conventions. Strategists believe this issue will strengthen the social justice agenda and provide an opportunity to make inroads among BJP supporters. Along with social justice, the SP also aims to counter the BJP's strong stance of cultural nationalism. The SP will take this issue to every village through PDA conventions. Samajwadi Baba Saheb Ambedkar Vahini workers have already held PDA panchayats and training camps in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Agra, and Ballia. The next camp will be held in Lucknow on July 3rd.
SP to go door-to-door to inform about Ram Temple donation controversy
Party National Secretary and MP Rajiv Rai stated that the programs aim to raise awareness about the Constitution, social justice, and democratic rights. When it comes to public faith and public funds, every allegation must be investigated impartially and independently. He explained that thousands of Vahini workers are going door-to-door to discuss what is happening in Ayodhya. By speaking out on the issue of fund theft, Akhilesh is clearly signaling that the SP does not want to remain confined to the PDA but is also seeking to increase its acceptance among Hindu voters. This statement is not merely related to religious sentiments, but has deeper electoral implications and strategic objectives.
