Own a Plot in Greater Agra: ADA Opens Navratri Bookings for CM Yogi's ₹5,142 Cr Project

Fulfilling the aspirations of thousands of prospective homebuyers across western Uttar Pradesh, the Agra Development Authority (ADA) is rolling out the online booking process for residential plots in the next phase of its flagship Greater Agra project during the auspicious festive window of Sharadiya Navratri. Conceived as a state-of-the-art urban enclave, the mega project was officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 7, 2026, during public conventions in Raipur and Rahankalan. Spread across a vast land parcel of 449.5 hectares and backed by a comprehensive financial outlay of ₹5,142 crore, Greater Agra has been planned around modern, sustainable urban design principles. A distinctive engineering highlight of the development is the integration of specialized underground utility ducts for civic wiring and pipelines, permanently eliminating the need to repeatedly dig up paved roads for routine maintenance.

₹5,142-Crore River-Themed Mega Project: Raipur and Rahankalan Urban Model

The sprawling Greater Agra project comprises ten distinct planned townships, each named after prominent sacred rivers across India, designed to house a collective inventory of 4,353 residential plots alongside institutional, green, and commercial sectors. Out of the ten sectors, eight are designated exclusively as residential hubs, while Yamunapuram has been earmarked as a centralized commercial zone and Kaveripuram sits strategically within the designated flood buffer zone. The urban body has already launched internal infrastructure development work—including wide road networks, electrification grids, and sewage lines—following successful allotment drives in September where 620 out of 908 residential plots in Gangapuram and 386 out of 718 plots in Narmadapuram were formally allotted to applicants through transparent draws.

Navratri Online Booking Rollout: Complete Plot Matrix and Sector Breakdown

Confirming the festive rollout, ADA Vice President Vijay Kumar announced that administrative preparations are complete to initiate online residential bookings for another major sector during Navratri, with the upcoming release expected to feature Gomtipuram, Godavaripuram, or Mahanadipuram. The master layout details an expansive distribution of land and residential plots across all ten river-inspired sectors:

  • Sindhupuram: Spans 26.83 hectares with 120 residential plots.

  • Gomtipuram: Covers 49.45 hectares with 719 residential plots.

  • Gangapuram: Spanning 48.86 hectares featuring 975 residential plots.

  • Yamunapuram: Encompasses 43.77 hectares developed purely as a commercial corridor.

  • Betwapuram: Enclosed across 28.41 hectares with 220 residential plots.

  • Mahanadipuram: Covers 31.09 hectares with 293 residential plots.

  • Narmadapuram: Spans 45.18 hectares featuring 763 residential plots.

  • Godavaripuram: Developed across 42.28 hectares with 706 residential plots.

  • Krishnapuram: Covers 42.86 hectares accommodating 557 residential plots.

  • Kaveripuram: Measures 42.78 hectares designated as a river flood buffer zone.

The digital booking mechanism will allow applicants from Agra, NCR, and neighboring districts to register, apply, and complete documentation online through the official ADA portal, offering an accessible, transparent pathway toward acquiring certified freehold residential plots in one of Uttar Pradesh’s most ambitious urban township developments.
