The tragic homicide occurred in Badanoli village, falling within the Dhaulana assembly segment. Police Blockade at Wave City: Delegation Intercepted on Hapur Bypass

The scheduled visit was led by high-ranking party functionaries, including All India Congress Committee (AICC) Uttar Pradesh in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam and co-in-charge Sanjeev Arya, who were traveling from Bulandshahr to join local party representatives on the Hapur bypass. Accompanying workers and supporters under the leadership of Ghaziabad District Congress Committee President Satish Sharma, the delegation attempted to advance toward the victim's village. However, units from the Wave City police station erected blockades, intercepted their convoy mid-transit, and explicitly barred the leaders from proceeding further before executing house arrest protocols.

Congress Questions Administration's Intent and Demands Immediate Justice

Condemning the detention, District Congress President Satish Sharma termed the police blockade deeply unfortunate and authoritarian, asserting that their intent was purely to console a grieving family struggling for answers. Questioning the motive behind the administrative lockdown, party leaders asked why the authorities felt compelled to block external delegations if there was nothing to conceal regarding the ongoing inquiry.
