CM Yogi to Lay Foundation Stone for CNH Tractor Plant in Jewar
Industrial expansion across the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) corridor is set to hit a major milestone immediately following the festive Diwali holidays, as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits Jewar on Thursday, November 12, 2026, to formally lay the foundation stone for a ₹1,220-crore heavy machinery production plant. Spearheaded by global agricultural equipment manufacturer CNH Industrial India Private Limited, the massive facility is being developed in Sector 8D across Dayorar (Dayaurar) village in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. The strategic initiative marks another key triumph for Uttar Pradesh’s aggressive industrialization blueprint, positioning the emerging aerotropolis surrounding the Noida International Airport as a prime destination for global heavy engineering, precision automotive manufacturing, and sustainable regional employment generation.
100-Acre Heavy Machinery Hub: Unlocking 3,200 Direct and Indirect Jobs in Western UP
Under the approved investment charter, YEIDA has officially allotted a sprawling 100-acre land parcel to CNH Industrial for establishing this high-tech agricultural tractor manufacturing base, involving a total capital expenditure of ₹1,219.81 crore. In close coordination with local administrative bodies, the company has completed the formal possession process after reaching mutual agreements with land-owning farmers of Dayorar village, with heavy machinery already deployed on-site for comprehensive land leveling and ceremonial venue preparations. From an employment standpoint, the state-of-the-art facility is projected to yield immediate socioeconomic dividends for the region's workforce, providing direct industrial employment to approximately 1,200 skilled and semi-skilled professionals, while allied support activities—including precision component fabrication, multimodal freight hauling, packaging, and supply-chain logistics—are slated to unlock an additional 2,000 indirect livelihood opportunities across neighboring rural and peri-urban clusters.
The Jewar Aerotropolis Advantage: Transforming Yamuna Expressway into India’s Next Manufacturing Hub
The arrival of CNH Industrial’s capital-intensive unit underscores the rapid evolution of the YEIDA greenfield territory into an integrated industrial ecosystem anchored by the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. Global manufacturers are increasingly choosing the Yamuna Expressway zone due to its world-class transit advantages, seamless connectivity via expressways and dedicated freight corridors, and streamlined single-window clearances. The establishment of this agricultural machinery powerhouse in Sector 8D is expected to catalyze a robust vendor ecosystem, prompting tier-1 and tier-2 auto-ancillary manufacturers to establish fabrication units in adjacent sectors. For local youth, the expansion delivers much-needed technical career avenues and fuels self-employment opportunities in transport, commercial warehousing, spare-parts distribution, and hospitality, cementing Jewar's transition from a predominantly agricultural landscape into an internationally recognized industrial corridor.
