CM Yogi at Janta Darshan: 'If Complainants Return, Officials Face Action'
At the early morning 'Janta Darshan' convened at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held an extensive public interaction, personally meeting citizens who had traveled from distant corners of the state. Moving attentively across the rows of seated complainants, the Chief Minister received their written applications, listened to their grievances firsthand, and assured everyone of prompt, transparent resolution. Reinforcing the foundational mandate of his administration, CM Yogi instructed the attending administrative and police officers that delivering timely justice and satisfying genuine victims must remain the non-negotiable benchmark of all state departments.
Unforgivable Administrative Delays: Repeat Grievances to Trigger Departmental Accountability
Taking a firm stance against bureaucratic negligence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sounded a direct warning to ground-level administrative machinery. He stated unequivocally that if any complainant with a legitimate issue is forced to return to the Janta Darshan a second time, the responsible nodal officers will be held accountable, and formal disciplinary proceedings will follow. Emphasizing that failing to resolve a genuine problem in a timely manner is completely unforgivable, the Chief Minister directed district magistrates, superintendents of police, and civic authorities to handle public petitions with deep sensitivity, ensure thorough on-ground verification, and finalize solutions without unnecessary procedural delays.
Zero Tolerance for Land Mafias: Reclaiming Property and Affection for Children
During the session, several citizens reported instances of unauthorized occupation and intimidation by local land mafias attempting to seize property belonging to economically weaker families. In response, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered immediate, unsparing police action to dismantle illegal encroachments, restore every parcel of land to its rightful owners, and pursue stern statutory prosecution against the perpetrators to establish a strong deterrence. In a characteristic warm gesture amidst the rigorous administrative review, the Chief Minister also interacted affectionately with young children accompanying their parents, offering them chocolates, engaging in friendly conversations, and reiterating that the state government stands firmly with every vulnerable household.
