News Topical, Digital Desk : Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Britain, Canada and Australia, the three countries that have recognised the Palestinian state, in the wake of the October 7 Hamas attack, accusing them of rewarding terrorism.

He also said there would be no Palestinian state west of the Jordan River. In the statement, Netanyahu said, “There will be no Palestinian state. The latest attempt to impose a terrorist state on us in the heart of our land will be answered after my return from the United States.”

"My message is clear."

He added, "After the horrific massacre of October 7th, my message to those leaders who are recognizing a Palestinian state is clear: you are heavily rewarding terror, and I have another message for you: This is not going to happen. There will be no Palestinian state west of the Jordan River."

"For years, I have prevented the creation of that terrorist state despite enormous pressure, both domestic and foreign. We have done this with determination and shrewd diplomacy. Furthermore, we have doubled the number of Jews in Judea and Samaria, and we will continue on this path," Netanyahu said.

Uproar over Palestine

Britain, Canada and Australia formally recognised the Palestinian state today, joining other nations in an effort to revive momentum towards a two-state solution, but the move has been criticised by Israel and the United States.
