
News Topical, Digital Desk : Rail Tel Corporation, a government company included in the BSE Smallcap Index, has received another order. This is the third order received by the company in the month of July. The company, which comes under the Ministry of Railways, has said in the information sent to the stock market on Wednesday that it has received a contract from the General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh. The size of this contract is Rs 17.47 crore.
What is special in the contract
Under this contract, a modern integrated communication infrastructure is to be created. Apart from this, network connectivity, purchase of hardware, its installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance are also included. According to the information given by the company, this project is to be completed by January 14, 2031. The company is continuously getting orders. With the help of new orders, the value of big orders received by RailTel in July has reached Rs 130.32 crore.
What other contracts were received Earlier, on July 8, the company had received a project order of Rs 96.99 crore from Central Warehousing Corporation. This project includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning and comprehensive maintenance of smart systems in 226 food grain warehouses across the country. This project is to be completed by July 6, 2030. On July 1, RailTel received a contract of Rs 15.84 crore from Cuttack Development Authority. This project is part of the Cuttack Smart City Development Plan and will be completed by November 2, 2025. Shares of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd closed down half a percent at ₹ 409.50 on BSE on Wednesday.
