Mumbai: Since the Corona epidemic, the time has come for South cinema. There was a time when South stars dreamed of working in Bollywood. Now the times have changed and South industry films beat Bollywood and earn a lot of money. This is the reason why Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan are also playing villains in South films. After Saif Ali Khan, now another Bollywood star has expressed his desire to work in South cinema. This star is none other than Shahid Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor, who attended the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), spoke openly to the media about working in South Indian cinema.
He said, 'I am ready to work in South Indian cinema, but I am afraid that what if the South Indian audience is not happy with my dialogue delivery? I don't want to leave any stone unturned, I have a good command over Hindi.' When asked which South Indian language film he particularly likes, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada, the actor replied, 'For me it is all the same, because I don't know any of these. So if any South filmmaker can trust me, explain things to me properly and answer all my questions, then I am ready to work for them.'
Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the film Deva
Shahid will soon be seen in the film 'Deva' in which he is paired with Pooja Hegde. Directed by Roshan Andrews, Shahid will be seen playing the role of a cop in this film. Talking about the film, the actor said, 'It is an action film, so there is a lot of action in it. You will get to see tremendous thrill in it which will make you think who did it. I am playing an aggressive character in it. It is a very good film, if we make the right teaser and trailer then it will thrill you. It will be released on February 14 next year and I am waiting for the audience's response.' The 24th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is currently going on in Abu Dhabi.
