According to Bollywood Hungama, 26 years ago, the Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgn starrer film earned Rs 24.76 crore. All its songs are evergreen.

Mohabbatein

Mohabbatein, directed by Aditya Chopra, is also the best romantic musical drama till date, in which Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai played the lead roles. Along with the film, all its songs were also superhits. The box office collection of the film was 41.88 crores net in 2000.

Aashiqui 2

Aashiqui 2 was directed by Saiyaara director Mohit Suri. This heartbreak love story of Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Chopra made the audience crazy. This film collected Rs 78.42 crore.

Ek Villain

Ek Villain  was also directed by Mohit Suri. This film was also a super-duper hit and earned three times more. According to reports, the film starring Shraddha Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh collected more than 105 crores.

Raanjhanaa

Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor starrer film Raanjhanaa is also counted among the best romantic films till date. The film directed by Anand L Rai earned Rs 60.35 crores. The songs of this film were also superhits and are still liked a lot.

Not just these five, there are many romantic films of Bollywood which touched the hearts of the audience even though they were not hits. These include films like Awarapan, Sanam Teri Kasam (hit in re-release) and Laila Majnu (hit in re-release).
