News Topical, Digital Desk : The announcement video of Pratik Gandhi's new show 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha' features him as an intelligence officer. The series is based on India's surveillance and espionage operations against enemy spies.

What is in the announcement video

The video begins with Pratik Gandhi 's character sitting in the control room. Explaining the spying missions, he says, "For a spy, every little detail matters. The success or failure of our mission depends on it. Our target is the enemy country. And the goal? To enter their home and stop them from becoming a nuclear power."

He further added, "We can't miss anything. Morse code, phone calls, numbers, transactions, dates. This Independence Day, our mission is clear. We have to keep India one step ahead of the enemy." Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous 1970s, Netflix's upcoming series - 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha' presents a riveting tale of espionage, sacrifice and national duty.

Cast of the series

In this new series, Gandhi is playing the role of an intelligence officer, Vishnu Shankar. Apart from him, the cast of this show includes Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor and Anup Soni.

Speaking about Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, Gandhi said, "With Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, we have created a world that is urgent yet scary and full of tension.
