The Pakistani Defence Minister has given this statement when the Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi had clearly warned Pakistan to desist from cross-border terrorism and said that the 88-hour Operation Sindoor was just a trailer and if such a situation arises in future, we are ready to teach a lesson to behave responsibly with the neighbouring country.

'Afghanistan is a haven for terrorists'

In an interview with a Pakistani TV channel, Asif leveled baseless allegations against India, saying that Afghanistan carries out infiltration and India plays a role in it.

He said Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, China and other countries want to end cross-border infiltration into Pakistan. He further said that Afghanistan has become a haven for terrorists.

What did the Pakistani Defense Minister say about fear of the Indian Army?

Asif said India does not want Pakistan and Afghanistan to resolve their issues. He said Pakistan could become embroiled in a two-front conflict, and in such a situation, India could avoid the risk of war.

The Pakistani defense minister said that many people remind India of its past humiliations. Pakistan cannot trust India in any way and India may even attempt a cross-border attack.

What did Khawaja Asif say on the Palestine issue?
