News Topical, Digital Desk : The Central Bank of India (CBI) recruitment board on May 27, 2026 announced the engagement of apprentices for the following 4500 vacancy. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by the lastdate i.e. 22/6/2026, by filling the application forms through an online portal on the official website. Age limit The age of candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years.
Relaxation of age for candidates falling under categories (i) to (vi) below as the case may be shall be given over and above the maximum age i.e. 28 years: SC / ST - 5 years; OBC - 3 years.
Person with Disability - 10 years. The total period of relaxation is 5 years as per govt. Instructions. Educational Qualification Candidate Should Possess a graduation degree from any recognized University / Board/ Institution in India. How will selection process The candidates shall be selected on the basis of online test followed by a local language test.
Online Test- The test will consist of 100 multiple choice questions of 100 marks.
The medium for the examination will be English. The subjects areGeneral and Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, ReasoningAbility, English, and Computer Knowledge. Time is1 hour only and There will be no penalty (negative marking) for incorrect answer .
Local Language Test -The selected candidates on the online test will be called for a local language test in the respective local language for which candidates would have opted.
Amount of Stipend?
Stipend to be paid to selected apprentices would be at a flat rate of 15,000 per month.
The stipend will be paid to them for their Apprenticeship period of 1 year.
Registration FeesFor candidatesbelongingtoGeneral, OBC and EWS (male and female), and ex-servicemen- Exam Fee and Intimation charges will be ₹800 and For candidatesbelongingtoSC, ST and Person with Disability – Exam Fee: ₹ 0, Intimation charges will be ₹200.
