IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026: Online Applications Open for Intake 02/2027

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially commenced the online application process for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To qualify for the Agniveer Vayu recruitment, candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be born between July 1, 2005, and January 1, 2010 (both dates inclusive). The age limit is 17.5 to 22 years as per recruitment rules.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Science Subjects: Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, OR a 3-year Engineering Diploma in relevant disciplines with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR a 2-year Vocational Course with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

  • Other Than Science Subjects: Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, OR a 2-year Vocational Course with at least 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet the following physical criteria:

• Minimum Height: 152.5 cm (Male) and 152 cm (Female). Relaxations apply for North East/Hilly regions (147 cm) and Lakshadweep (150 cm).

• Chest: Minimum 77 cm with a 5 cm expansion for males.

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This includes running 1.6 km (within 7 minutes for males; 8 minutes for females), along with mandatory push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
