The total number of vacancies for this recruitment drive are 362. It will fill operator positions under four trades – fitter, turner, machinist and welder.

Along with that, they must also possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by DGT in a similar trade or equivalent qualification recognized. For candidates from General, EWS and OBC categories, it is essential to have a minimum of 60 percent marks in ITI or equivalent qualification. However, for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, 5 percent relaxation has been provided and they can apply if they have 55 percent marks in ITI or equivalent qualification.
Age Limit For the post of BEML Operator, the maximum age limit for General & EWS candidates should not be more than 29 years. For OBC (Non-Creamy layer), upper age limit will be 32 years. Similarly, for SC/ST candidates upper age limit is 34 years. Selection Process The selection of the candidates will be done based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification and then the final Medical Examination.
Computer Based Test (CBT) - Written exam of 2 hours with 100 questions covering General Knowledge (20), English & Reasoning (20) and Trade Related Subject (60).
No negative marking will be applicable for the CBT. After CBT, qualified candidates will be called for document verification. Finally, the chosen candidates will undergo a medical examination before being appointed. BEML Operator Salary Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary on the 10th of each month beginning at Rs.16,900/-.
In addition to the basic pay, the selected individuals will also be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and a monthly medical allowance of Rs. 1,500/- in addition to such benefits as the Company may from time to time extend. There would be a 3 percent increase in basic salary every year for all well-performing candidates. Application Fee The application fee of Rs. 200/- will be required to be paid by General, OBC and EWS candidates.
SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
