Uttar Pradesh is set to witness another major milestone in its industrial growth as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually lays the foundation stone for the massive Escort Kubota manufacturing facility in Sector 10 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). This landmark project entails a substantial investment of ₹4,500 crore, which is expected to generate upwards of 4,000 direct employment opportunities. The facility will focus on producing advanced tractors and specialized machinery for both the agricultural and construction sectors, further strengthening the state's expanding manufacturing ecosystem.

High-Level Engagement with Japanese Entrepreneurs in New Delhi

Coinciding with the virtual groundbreaking ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to hold high-level investment discussions with a visiting delegation of 200 Japanese entrepreneurs in New Delhi as part of the ongoing UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026. Joined by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Chief Minister will interact with top leadership and executives from major global brands, including Honda, Denso, Spark Minda, and Kubota. These deliberations aim to foster deeper industrial collaboration, technological exchange, and foreign direct investment in the state.

Blueprint for a 500-Acre 'Japanese City' in YEIDA

A major focal point of the discussions in New Delhi will be the presentation of a proposed 500-acre "Japanese City" planned for Sector 5A within the YEIDA region. State infrastructure chairman Alok Kumar will present the detailed blueprint to the visiting business leaders, highlighting world-class connectivity, robust regional infrastructure, and tailored policy frameworks designed to accommodate Japanese enterprises, suppliers, and ancillary industries. To ensure the smooth execution of today's events, YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh inspected the Sector 10 site on Tuesday to oversee final preparations for the launch event, which anticipates a gathering of around 500 attendees.
