CM Yogi Adityanath to Launch Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar Schemes on Ganesh Chaturthi, 6,000 Plots Up for Grabs

The dream of owning a residential plot in Lucknow is turning into reality for thousands of home seekers. On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to officially inaugurate two ambitious housing projects launched by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA)—Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar. With bookings for approximately 6,000 plots opening simultaneously on September 13 or 14, 2026, this massive urban expansion initiative offers affordable and strategically located land parcels for diverse income groups in the capital.

Massive Scale and Strategic Locations on Agra Expressway and Sitapur Road

Designed to drive planned metropolitan growth and ease housing demands, the Lucknow Development Authority has conceptualized both townships across expansive tracts of land:

• Varun Vihar Project: Taking shape across roughly 6,580 acres situated near the major Agra Expressway, providing stellar connectivity for commuters heading toward western Uttar Pradesh and the national capital region.

• Naimish Nagar Project: Spanning approximately 3,600 acres along Sitapur Road, offering a peaceful yet well-connected residential environment in the northern corridor of Lucknow.

Plot Sizes, Wide Road Infrastructure, and Affordable Pricing

To cater to varying budgets and family sizes, both schemes feature a wide inventory of plots ranging from 72 square meters to 450 square meters:

• Infrastructure Design: The townships feature wide internal and connecting arterial roads ranging from 18 meters to 45 meters, ensuring seamless traffic movement, green spaces, and modern urban amenities.

• Competitive Pricing: LDA has fixed attractive rates based on location and infrastructural value. Varun Vihar plots are priced around ₹2,800 per square foot, while Naimish Nagar plots are set at approximately ₹3,200 per square foot. Consequently, entry-level 72-square-meter plots will start at an affordable bracket of ₹21 lakh to ₹22 lakh, making homeownership highly accessible.

Simultaneous Online Registration and Infrastructure Upgrades

Online registration for the 6,000 plots will commence directly on Ganesh Chaturthi, allowing buyers to secure their bookings digitally. In tandem with these housing projects, the Yogi government is aggressively upgrading regional infrastructure. This includes the recent approval for a two-lane bridge over the Sai River near Hulaskheda between Haroni and Bhatgawan Pandey. Spearheaded by Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh and executed by the Bridge Corporation for ₹19.94 crore, this 1,571-meter project will slash travel distances and boost connectivity for nearly two lakh residents in southern Lucknow.
