News Topical, Digital Desk : Vishal Agarwal's murder case took another turn: fiancee & boyfriend plotted the murder the case of Ketan Agarwal, son of a wealthy Maharashtra industrialist who died after a fall from Lohagad fort, has taken an alarming shape now, after Lonavala police stated he may have been pushed by his fiancee and her lover. Police described the whole case as very disturbing for the both the victim's and accused families, as well as the team of investigators.

According to police reports, the deceased. Ketan Agarwal had gone to trek at the Lohagarh Fort along with his fiancee Siya Goyal. The hike was to celebrate her birthday. The two were supposed to tie the knot in November and the two seemed happy.
The fiancee's initial statement to the police was that Ketan slipped while taking a selfie and fell into the ravine.
The deceased was fished out from the ravine after a 3-hour operation. However, a proper investigation carried out by the Lonavala police soon gave them some serious discrepancies through call data, mobile data, and statements from few people who were witness at the scene. The investigation team has now detained Siya Goyal, along with her boyfriend.
"We are trying to investigate and ascertain if someone else was involved in the crime", the officer added. Grand wedding arrangements; 'A happy event' As detailed in reports, the family had planned Ketan's wedding in November at Udaipur, Rajasthan. The father of the victim, Vishal Agarwal is a famous construction businessman from Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune.
'I still can't believe all this; he seemed to be very happy', the victim's close relative added.
Two private aircrafts and a 17 crore worth of 'palace' were apparently booked by both families for the wedding guests, and a lavish wedding was expected in November.
What was the motive behind killing the young man
It's reported by investigators that the alleged motive was 'she didn't want to get married' and decided to go in for something 'radical', thus hatching a plan to get rid of Ketan. The fiancee and her lover then decided to carry out the murder on a birthday trekking in a hilly area.
It's alleged that the lover of Siya Goyal with assistance from others then pushed Ketan in a deep ravine at the fort while taking photos. A police case has been registered and both are currently in custody.
