During an interview on Red FM's podcast, Himani revealed that she first met Aishwarya on the set of Aa Ab Laut Chalen. Later, the two collaborated on films like Aa Ab Laut Chalen, Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, and Umrao Jaan.
Salman often visited the sets.
Himani said that Aishwarya hadn't worked much in Bollywood at the time, and they were very close. She shared an anecdote from their shoot in Hyderabad. She explained that Salman would often visit the set for Aishwarya. This was a time when she and Salman were very good friends, so Salman would come every night and leave in the morning.

Himani also talked about the times when Salman would often get angry over something or the other, and she had to act as a mediator. She said, “I remember one time we were shooting in Film City. Aishwarya was shooting for Rohan Sippy's film with Abhishek Bachchan, and Salman came over. He was saying to me, 'What's the matter? Explain it to her. Look at Waheeda Rehman. She thinks she's so beautiful.' I told him to calm down, to shut up.”

Himani said that things didn't work out between them, and she knows the reason. Furthermore, Himani praised Aishwarya's beauty and described her as a wonderful person.
Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's romance began in the late 1990s with the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Their on-screen and off-screen chemistry soon became a topic of discussion in the media. However, after breaking up with Salman, Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.
