News Topical, Digital Desk : FIIs Data Today: Foreign portfolio investors (FIIs/FPIs) and domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have made strong purchases in the Indian capital market on 14 May 2025. Both investor classes expressed confidence in the market and invested heavily, which strengthened the business sentiment.

According to data released by market regulator SEBI, FIIs/FPIs bought ₹14,861.07 crores on this day, while they sold ₹13,929.27 crores. Thus, the net investment of FIIs was ₹931.80 crores, which reflects a positive outlook among investors. Today's data of DIIs On the other hand, domestic institutional investors also made their presence felt in the market. DIIs bought a total of ₹13,602.99 crores and sold ₹13,286.68 crores. Thus, the net investment of DIIs was ₹316.31 crores. What is the situation in the month of May? Foreign portfolio investors (FIIs) have so far invested a net of Rs 9,558.65 crores in the Indian markets in the month of May. As per data till the trading day ended May 14, 2025, FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,36,054.89 crore during this period, while gross sales of Rs 1,26,496.24 crore were made. On May 14 alone, FIIs made a net investment of Rs 931.80 crore, which includes purchases of Rs 14,861.07 crore and sales of Rs 13,929.27 crore. However, FIIs also made net sales on some days, such as net withdrawals of Rs 476.86 crore on May 13 and Rs 3,798.71 crore on May 9. Despite this, buying trend was seen on most days of the month, due to which the overall net investment remained positive.
