
News Topical, Digital Desk : FIIs Data Today: The Indian stock market witnessed strong trading activities of domestic institutional investors (DII) and foreign institutional investors (FII/FPI) on Wednesday. Both investors have made heavy purchases on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and other major exchanges. This is the second consecutive day when both investors have made purchases in the Indian stock market.
Trading activity in NSE
According to NSE website data, in the capital market segment, DII bought shares worth Rs 11,093.15 crore and sold shares worth Rs 10,140.34 crore. Thus, DII's net buy was Rs 952.81 crore.
On the other hand, FII/FPI bought shares worth Rs 12,065.31 crore and sold shares worth Rs 11,119.96 crore, taking their net buy to Rs 945.35 crore.
Total trading in NSE, BSE and MSEI
In the three major exchanges NSE, BSE and MSEI, DII bought shares worth Rs 11,433.84 crore and sold shares worth Rs 10,342.50 crore. Thus, DII's net buy was Rs 1,091.34 crore. FIIs/FPIs bought shares worth Rs 12,118.14 crore and sold shares worth Rs 11,227.21 crore, taking their net purchases to Rs 890.93 crore.
