Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is in the headlines these days for her upcoming film 'Emergency'. In this film, Kangana is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. After the release of the trailer, first the Sikh community demanded a ban on this film and now the censor certification of the film has been stopped. This has been revealed by the actress herself. Kangana released a video on X and alleged that the censor certification of her film has been stopped.

Getting death threats:

In this video, Kangana said, "Many kinds of rumours are flying around that our film 'Emergency' had received a censor certificate. But this is not true. Although our film was cleared, but now its certification has been stopped. Because many threats are coming, of murder. The censor officers are getting many threats."

Kangana further says, in such a situation there is pressure on us to not show the assassination of Mrs Gandhi, not show Punjab riots, then I don't know what should we show? I don't know what happened that the film suddenly went black out. I can't believe it but I feel pity on the condition and thinking of this country.

The film will be released on September 6:

Kangana will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. Let us tell you, this film is going to be released in theaters on 6 September 2024. The story of this film is based on the 'Emergency' implemented in India in the year 1975. Apart from Kangana, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary and Milind Soman will also be seen in important roles in this film.
