6 IPOs List Simultaneously on September 17 as LCC Projects & Karamtara Surge Up to 29%
In an unprecedented event in the annals of the Indian capital markets, Dalal Street scripted primary market history on Thursday, September 17, 2026, as six separate corporate initial public offerings debuted simultaneously on the bourses. The unprecedented rush of new listings—spanning tech rentals, asset resolution, payments infrastructure, industrial utilities, EPC contracting, and power engineering—drew sharp engagement from institutional funds and retail investors alike. Market performance delivered strong outcomes for primary market applicants, with four of the six debuts rewarding investors with listing day gains stretching up to 29%, while one counter listed on a completely flat note and another entered trade at a mild 3% discount against its issue price.
LCC Projects and Karamtara Engineering Lead Debutants With Blockbuster Listing Premiums
Leading the listing gains across Thursday’s cohort, civil engineering firm LCC Projects Limited delivered the day's highest listing premium. Debuting on the BSE at ₹191.90 against its issue price of ₹146, the stock logged an eye-popping 29% opening gain for allottees who backed its ₹427.14 crore issue, which had closed with 48.51 times overall subscription. Close behind, renewable transmission infrastructure manufacturer Karamtara Engineering Limited posted a stellar debut, surging nearly 26% to open at ₹320 against its issue price of ₹254. Backed by solid institutional appetite that drove its ₹875 crore offering to an aggregate subscription of 66.01 times, Karamtara’s robust listing reflected intense secondary market demand for companies exposed to solar module mounting systems, tracker components, and power transmission hardware.
Rentomojo and Steamhouse India Deliver Strong Double-Digit Gains on Market Entry
Consumer and industrial platforms also generated strong returns, led by tech-enabled rental subscription platform Rentomojo Limited. After drawing an overwhelming subscription tally of 72.88 times for its ₹1,255.57 crore offering, Rentomojo shares debuted at ₹482 on the exchanges, marking a handsome 19.3% premium over its upper price band of ₹404. Concurrently, industrial utility specialist Steamhouse India Limited posted an impressive 17% listing pop, opening at ₹94.50 against its issue price of ₹81 per share. The company’s ₹414 crore issue, subscribed 30.49 times, is set to fund essential balance sheet de-leveraging and long-term pipeline capacity expansions to scale up centralized industrial steam and nitrogen delivery.
Flat Debut for ARCIL While Manipal Payment Drops 3% Below Issue Price
In contrast to the soaring industrial and rental counters, the financial and payments segments recorded muted market reactions. Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited (ARCIL) made a completely flat debut, listing exactly at its final offer price of ₹139 per share, matching its ₹733 crore issue valuation following a 20.10 times subscription tally. The day’s sole underperformer was Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions Limited, which slipped into negative territory by opening at ₹330 against its issue price of ₹339, marking a modest 3% discount. The company, which provides secure smart cards, identity solutions, and IoT platforms to banks and government institutions, had faced muted demand during its bidding phase, managing an overall subscription of 1.42 times for its ₹805 crore issue.
