The Sunny Deol-Varun Dhawan starrer war drama "Border 2" opened with a worldwide box office collection of around ₹43 crore. The film crossed the ₹100 crore mark in its first weekend and by Monday had reached ₹396 crore. Now, in just one week and four days, the film has surpassed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Sunny Deol's film "Border 2" has earned ₹403.79 crore worldwide in 12 days. This means the film's single-day collection on Tuesday was around ₹7 crore.
Fans are waiting for the OTT release of Border 2.
Border 2 is currently the fastest film to enter the 400 crore club in 2026. The film was released overseas in several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, where it performed well. In the overseas market alone, Border 2 has earned ₹36.64 crore (approximately $3.66 billion). In India, Border 2's net collection has reached ₹3.084 million (approximately $3.67 billion), while its gross has reached ₹3.671 million (approximately $3.67 billion). Fans are eagerly awaiting the OTT release of Border 2, which has been a runaway success in theaters.
The film is expected to release on Netflix between March and April. Both Border and Border 2 are based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war. However, fans are excited to learn what the story of Border 3 will be.
