Sambhal Temple News: Sambhal district administration on Saturday launched a campaign against encroachment in Khaggu Sarai area under Nakhasa police station. During this, they found a Shiv temple which is said to be closed for 46 years. There was a statue of Hanuman ji and a Shivling in this temple. Now Sambhal District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pensia has talked about surveying this temple. He said that we have written a letter to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
Sambhal DM said that in the letter given to ASI, we have demanded an investigation of this temple. We will investigate how old is the idol in the temple and how old is the Shivling. Along with this, we are demanding carbonating of the temple and the well.
DM-SP who reached Kartik Mahadev temple in Sambhal said that 68 pilgrimages, 19 wells, 36 ponds and 52 inns are considered here. This is Mahadev temple and well has also been found. Earlier, all the temples used to have a water centre along with them. On electricity theft, DM said that 49 FIRs have been registered so far, electricity theft has taken place on a large scale.
Along with this, on removing encroachment, the DM said that the people here want the encroachment to be removed from the road, 6 teams will be formed and encroachment will be removed continuously. For the people who migrated from the violence in the year 1978, he said that if they complain, action will be taken and the administration will guarantee their safety.
Deputy District Magistrate Vandana Mishra, who is leading the campaign against electricity theft, said on this whole matter, "While inspecting the area, we suddenly reached this temple. After this I immediately informed the district officials. Then we decided to reopen the temple."
