Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is conducting the preliminary examination of UPPSC PCS on Sunday. The examination has been conducted in two shifts. The first shift of the examination is from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The second shift is from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The preliminary examination of UPPSC PCS is being conducted in 75 districts of the state. The examination is being conducted at a total of 1331 exam centers in UP. 

Question papers were delivered to the examination centers through Digi Locker

This time around 5,76,154 candidates are appearing in the PCS Pre exam. Security arrangements have been made very strict for the exam. Question papers have been delivered to the examination centers through digital locker. Along with this, candidates have been identified through eye scanning.

Deployment of magistrates at examination centres

PCS Pre exam is being conducted today in 21 centers in two shifts in Deoria district of UP. Extensive arrangements have been made by the district administration to conduct the examination properly. A total of 8640 candidates will participate in it. 21-21 sector magistrates, static magistrates and center administrators have been deployed to ensure fair and successful conduct of the examination.

Use of artificial intelligence technology

Apart from this, 10 reserved sector magistrates/static magistrates have been nominated. Artificial intelligence technology is also being used along with CCTV cameras in this year's exam. AI will provide eight types of alerts regarding the exam being held today.

Meanwhile, PCS Pre exam is being conducted in two shifts at 9 examination centers in Auraiya district amid tight security arrangements. The district administration is keeping a strict watch on ensuring that the PCS Pre exam is conducted safely and without any cheating. All examination centers have been equipped with CCTV cameras.

Monitoring of strong room

There is also a ban on opening any photo state, cafe etc. shops within 200 meters of the examination center. 4032 candidates will appear in the PCS pre-examination at 9 examination centers in Auraiya district. The examination is being monitored from the strong rooms made in all the examination centers to the district headquarters.

Magistrate gave necessary instructions

Along with this, the static magistrate as well as the mobile squad will also monitor the examination. To ensure the smooth conduct of the PCS pre-examination being conducted today, the Additional District Magistrate Auraiya also inspected the arrangements at the examination centres and gave necessary guidelines.
