A tragic accident has happened in Kalahandi district of Odisha. One person has died in a tragic road accident in Bhawanipatna, while the condition of two people is said to be critical. According to the information received, a speeding pickup van crushed three people in Bhawanipatna. One person died in this accident, while two others were seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Rahmatullah Khan, while the injured have not been identified yet. 

The accident happened on Bargarh-Borigumma road

It is being told that this incident happened on Bargarh-Borigumma road. At the time of the incident, three people were standing on the roadside and talking to each other. Meanwhile, suddenly a speeding pickup van hit them from behind. After the collision, the pickup driver fled from the spot with the van. The collision was so severe that one person died instantly, while two others were badly injured. The injured were immediately admitted to Bhawanipatna Medical College, where they are undergoing treatment.

The accident incident was captured on CCTV

The entire incident was recorded in a nearby CCTV camera. The CCTV footage clearly shows that the pickup van was coming at a very high speed and hit the three people without any warning. After the incident, the local people are angry and are demanding the immediate arrest of the guilty driver. At present, the police have started investigating the case and the driver is being searched. However, it is not yet clear whether this accident was done intentionally or it was an unfortunate accident. Officials say that soon the culprit will be caught and strict action will be taken.
