Bappa is going to come home in a few days. On Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganesha's idol is installed in the house with due rituals and on the 10th day i.e. Anant Chaturdashi, Ganesha is immersed, which we also know as Ganesh Visarjan. So let's know which things should not be offered to Ganesha during his worship, otherwise Ganpati ji may get angry.
Auspicious time of Ganesh Chaturthi (Ganesh Chaturthi Shubh muhurat)
According to the Hindu calendar, the Chaturthi date of Bhadrapada is starting from 06 September 2024 at 03:01 pm. At the same time, Chaturthi Tithi will end on 07 September at 05:37 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on Saturday, 07 September. The auspicious time for worshiping Ganesh ji on this day is going to be as follows -
Midday Ganesh Puja Muhurta - from 11:03 am to 01:34 pm
Don't make this mistake at all
Tulsi leaves should never be offered to Ganesh Ji. There is a mythological story about this that Tulsi had cursed Ganesh Ji. This is the reason why Tulsi is not used in the worship of Ganpati Ji.
Do not offer things of this color
According to religious beliefs, once Chandradev made fun of Lord Ganesha, due to which Ganesha got angry and cursed him. Therefore, things of white colour (considered to be the symbol of moon) like white flowers, clothes, white sacred thread, white sandalwood etc. should not be offered to Ganpati ji.
Keep these things in mind too
While worshipping Ganesh Ji during Ganesh Utsav, keep in mind that do not offer withered or dry fruits to Bappa. Also keep in mind that broken rice should not be used in worship. Along with this, offering Ketaki flowers to Ganesh Ji is also not considered auspicious.
