Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade was accused of being involved in a chit fund scam worth crores of rupees in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, March 27. Along with him, the names of many other people also came to light in this case. On March 28, the actor's team issued an official statement and dismissed these reports.

 

Let us tell you that apart from Shreyas, a complaint has been filed against 14 other people in this case. Even before the chit fund case, the actor has been accused of fraud. Earlier this year, Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath were accused of defrauding Lucknow investors of Rs 9 crore.

 

Shreyas Talpade is not a part of the scam case

Shreyas Talpade shared a post on his social media account. In the post, he has revealed this scam. Talpade's team said, 'It is disappointing news for us that in today's world, anyone can destroy a person's hard work and dignity in one stroke. The actor has no dealings with the chit fund scam... The allegations of fraud against Shreyas Talpade are completely false, he is not connected to this case in any way.'

Don't pay attention to rumours

The statement further said, 'As a celebrity and special guest, Talpade has been invited to corporate events like many other celebrities and he has been there but he has no involvement in all this. Now it goes without saying that Talpade has no connection to any fraud or illegal activities. Please ignore these rumours.'

Talking about Shreyas Talpade's work front, the actor will soon be seen in films like 'Comedy of Errors', 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Akshay Kumar, Tusshar Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Bobby Deol, Raveena Tandon, Sunil Shetty, Mika Singh, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez will also be seen in this film.
