Now news is coming that stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has become the target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Allegedly, an attempt was made to target him in Delhi last month. After this incident, Mumbai Police has increased his security as a precaution.

The police saved his life in time

According to a Hindustan Times report, a police official informed that the comedian may be facing a threat from the Bishnoi gang. Although the reason for the threat is still unclear, the police are trying to gather more information. Some members of the Bishnoi gang had allegedly attempted to kill him in Delhi last month and had chased Munawar. However, the intelligence agency got information about this in time and with timely action, the attack was foiled and Munawar was removed from the spot.

Why is Munawar becoming a target?

Actually, Munawwar had made fun of Hindi Gods and Goddesses in many shows, due to which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is not happy with him. The shooters were assigned the task of the hit at an event in Delhi in September. They traveled with him on the same flight from Mumbai and even booked the same hotel where Munawwar was going to stay. However, intelligence agencies alerted the Delhi Police and the plan was foiled. Reportedly, he has been receiving threats for the last few years.

Although the Mumbai Police have not officially confirmed a direct link between the threats and the Bishnoi gang, they are on high alert given the ongoing concerns for Munawar's safety.

Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three men on Saturday (12 October) night at around 9.30 pm just outside his son's office in Khar area of ​​Mumbai. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead.
