Equitas Small Finance Bank reported growth in several key financial metrics in its business update for the October-December quarter on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The bank's total deposits grew to Rs 40,738 crore in Q3, up 2.21 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 25.79 per cent year-on-year. The bank's CASA (current account savings account) deposits declined 4.24 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 9.79 per cent year-on-year to Rs 11,668 crore.
The small finance bank said that the CASA ratio stood at 29 per cent during this period, which is lower than 31 per cent in the previous quarter and 33 per cent in the same period last year. The cost of funds for Equitas Small Finance Bank stood at 7.49 per cent, which is slightly lower than 7.50 per cent in the second quarter of FY 2025, but higher than 7.36 per cent in the third quarter of FY 2024.
Equitas Small Finance Bank's total gross advances saw an increase, rising 3.58 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 13.94 per cent year-on-year to Rs 37,345 crore. Share performance Shares of Equitas Small Finance closed at Rs 66.30 on Friday with a gain of 1.24 per cent. The bank's stock has declined by 40.54 per cent in the last one year.
