Ever since the news came out that the British band Cold Play is going to tour India, fans have been counting the days on their fingers. It has already been revealed that they will tour India in January 2025. Their tour will start from Mumbai and they will perform their concerts in different cities. 

 

Now the date of their concert has also been revealed, but to ensure smooth traffic in Mumbai and to avoid any kind of problem to the common people, Navi Mumbai Traffic Police has issued an advisory. Coldplay's concert will be held in this stadium of Navi Mumbai

Coldplay 's first concert in India is going to be held at Dr. DY Patil Stadium, Nehrul, Mumbai. Their concert will be held on 18th, 19th and 21st January. According to a report in Free Press Journal, to ensure everyone's safety and smooth traffic during this concert, Mumbai Traffic Police Deputy Commissioner Tirupati Kakade has issued an order under Sections 115, 116 (1) (a) (b) and 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act. 

Under this order, the entry of all heavy vehicles has been banned on these dates. Apart from this, in the area falling under Navi Mumbai Commissionerate, the entry, travelling and parking of heavy vehicles including goods trains on the roads has also been banned. 

 

These heavy vehicles have been given permission to run for 24 hours

Deputy Commissioner of Police Kakade said about controlling the traffic, "All travellers are advised to plan their travel route as per the concert date and avoid using the roads around the stadium during the time they are closed. However, arrangements will be made to facilitate the movement of any urgent and essential services during that time." 

 

According to the advisory issued by Mumbai Traffic Police, this ban has not been imposed on vehicles carrying essential goods such as fire brigades, ambulances and government vehicles. On January 18 to 19 and 21, this ban on heavy vehicles will be from 2 pm to 12 pm.
