Here a 2-year-old girl died of bird flu (H5N1) after eating raw chicken meat. This is the first death due to bird flu in the state. At the same time, this is the second case in the whole of India. According to the report, the girl had a habit of eating raw chicken. Due to this, her immunity had become very weak. It is being told that the girl was admitted to AIIMS-Mangalgiri on March 4. She had symptoms of bird flu. She died on March 16. The next day, the officials reconfirmed the test. Then this matter came to light. The girl's father is a loan recovery agent in a private bank. Her mother is a housewife.

Health department team deployed in the village
However, after the death of the girl, the state government has conducted a survey in the village and surrounding areas. So far, no signs of infection have been found in any other human or chicken. Apart from this, the central government has sent a team to the state for investigation and prevention. The investigation team will remain active for the next two weeks.
