News Topical, Digital Desk : A blood donation scam has come to light in Taiwan, where female students have accused a university's female football coach of forcing them to donate blood in exchange for a degree. This coach is being called a vampire on social media and people are criticizing him fiercely.

According to a report by China Morning Post, this incident has sparked controversy. This incident came to light when a student named Jian publicly accused the coach. Jian, who studies at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), said that the students were forced to donate blood by their coach Zhou Tai-ying.

What allegations did the student make?

Jian alleged, "Sometimes she would sit for 14 consecutive days to donate blood. Sometimes three times a day, from 5 am to 9 pm. There were times when even a vein could not be found to insert the needle. Zhou Tai-ying forced the female students to participate in blood donation camps in unlimited numbers." Zhou Tai-ying is a prominent figure in the Taiwan football program.

The university suspended the coach

The student claimed that the blood was being taken by untrained people and claimed that it would be used for research experiments on campus. As the controversy escalated, the university announced on July 13 that Zhou had been dismissed and banned from leading any sports team.

In fact, the university required students to earn academic credits to graduate and there were 32 students who were tied to these blood donation camps. Students who did not listen to the coach had to face the risk of not graduating.
