In a strategic organizational overhaul aimed at ramping up digital outreach and ground-level department coordination, Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Pankaj Chaudhary has officially designated 13 key office bearers across the party's departmental cells and digital media divisions. The strategic appointments, formalised under the signature of the State President in Lucknow on Friday afternoon, place seasoned party functionary Om Prakash Srivastava at the helm of the party's cell cluster operations, while assigning senior leader Subhash Yaduvansh the high-stakes responsibility of leading the state's digital warfare as the official social media in-charge. The restructuring is engineered to streamline functional synergy across diverse community fronts and amplify the ruling party's communication narratives ahead of major political milestones in the state.

Dedicated Leadership for Department Cells and Digital Communications

According to the official communique issued from the party's state headquarters in Lucknow, the newly restructured cell cluster mechanism places Om Prakash Srivastava as the convener, supported by Santram Yadav and Dr. Mithilesh Tripathi as cell cluster co-conveners. To fortify digital messaging and narrative dissemination, Subhash Yaduvansh’s central charge will be reinforced by a dedicated panel of six state social media co-conveners: Gaurav Varshney, Vineet Malviya, Anuj Chaudhary, Manoj Maurya, Nikhil Sinha, and Vivek Lavania. Additionally, Jayant Shivach, Y.K. Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh have been inducted as primary members of the state social media core team, establishing a layered communication apparatus across all administrative regions of Uttar Pradesh.

Strengthening the 64-Member State Executive and Balancing Demographic Matrices

This departmental expansion builds upon the BJP’s recent macro-level organizational restructuring in Uttar Pradesh, which appointed 19 vice presidents, 19 state ministers, 8 general secretaries, and 6 frontal wing (morcha) presidents to assemble a robust 64-member operational executive. The broader executive framework features prominent leaders in pivotal vice-presidential roles, including Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s son Neeraj Singh, legislator Pooja Pal, and former minister Suresh Rana, alongside 6 regional vice presidents and 3 office secretaries. Reflecting a calculated social engineering blueprint under State Chief Pankaj Chaudhary and General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh, the expanded 54-member leadership body features 13 women leaders, increases Other Backward Class (OBC) representation from 16 to 25 members, includes 21 general category faces, 7 Scheduled Caste (SC) leaders, and accommodates regional caste dynamics with 6 Thakurs, 7 Brahmins, 4 Bhumihars, 3 Vaishyas, 1 Srivastava, and representation for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) through Vidyabhushan Gond.
