Make UP Your Second Industrial Home: CM Yogi Invites Japanese Investors at YEIDA Factory Groundbreaking

In a major push toward expanding global industrial partnerships, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath formally invited Japanese enterprises to establish Uttar Pradesh as their second industrial home. Speaking during the virtual foundation-stone laying ceremony for Escort Kubota’s manufacturing facility in Sector 10 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the Chief Minister emphasized the deep synergy between Japan's decades of industrial expertise and the immense potential of Uttar Pradesh’s dynamic young workforce.

Japan as a Trusted Partner in Future Industries

Highlighting Japan's global reputation for manufacturing precision and uncompromising quality, Chief Minister Yogi noted that both regions are well-positioned to pioneer the industries of tomorrow. He underscored that organizations like the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) can play a pivotal role in strengthening business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) collaborations. The state government is actively seeking strategic cooperation from Japanese institutions in advanced technology, research and development, and specialized skill training to further empower local talent.

Strengthening Tripartite Agreements and Economic Transformation

To facilitate seamless integration, the state aims to reinforce the tripartite framework involving JETRO, Invest UP, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). With JETRO having historically served as a critical bridge connecting Japanese corporations with the Indian market, the Uttar Pradesh government has invited the organization to act as a core strategic partner in the state's ongoing economic transformation journey toward becoming a trillion-dollar economy.
