Greed for Plots and Millions: Shocking New Revelations Emerge in BJP Leader Dhirendra Pratap Singh's Murder Case

The high-profile murder investigation of BJP leader and Maharana Pratap Charitable Trust President Dhirendra Pratap Singh has taken a dark and sinister turn. Investigators probing the Lucknow killing have uncovered chilling new details suggesting that the conspirators lured the hired assassins with promises of commercial plots, shops, and lakhs of rupees. As police deepen their inquiry into the contract-killing angle, the case is increasingly pointing toward a powerful land mafia nexus operating in the region.

The Battle Against Illegal Land Encroachment

Before his tragic death, Dhirendra Pratap Singh had emerged as a vocal crusader against illegal land grabbing in the Bangarmau area of Unnao. In November 2024, he escalated his fight by formally writing to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, exposing a deep-seated nexus between local land mafias and sections of the tehsil administration.

In his explosive complaint, Singh detailed how vital community assets, including village ponds and public lands—specifically pointing to plot numbers 488 and 487—were being illegally encroached upon. He openly questioned the complicity of the then Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), tehsildar, sub-registrar, and other local officials, accusing them of shielding land mafias. Investigators are now examining whether this relentless anti-corruption stance fueled a deadly rivalry that ultimately led to his assassination.

The Chilling Abduction and Execution Plot

According to initial police disclosures, the conspiracy against Dhirendra Pratap Singh was executed with chilling precision. He was abducted from the upscale Sushant Golf City area in Lucknow.

The assailants reportedly rendered him unconscious inside a moving vehicle by forcing a narcotic-laced handkerchief over his face before shooting him dead. Nearly three days later, police recovered his bullet-riddled body from the Sharda Canal near Kisan Path, close to Sarai Premraj village in Lucknow's Dubagga area. Autopsy findings confirmed fatal gunshot wounds to the back of his head and right chest.

Unraveling the Conspiracy and Financial Inducements

With forensic evidence and testimonies pointing to a well-orchestrated contract killing, law enforcement agencies are actively hunting down the masterminds behind the plot. The central focus of the investigation now revolves around identifying who financed the murder, who offered the lucrative inducements of plots and cash, and how many individuals were directly involved in the conspiracy. By revisiting Singh's November 2024 grievances—where he relentlessly petitioned the Unnao District Magistrate and Bangarmau authorities—police hope to bring all perpetrators to justice and dismantle the criminal network threatening local governance.
